The mechanic's corner

 This is our first homework of this course. With this activity, we have a first view of the parts of the plane which makes it flies and be airworthy.  Airplane parts and function 1. Describe the following aircraft motions. 1. Pitch: up and down movement of the plane’s nose/on the horizontal axis. 2. Roll: The rotation movement of the wing tips of the aircraft 3. Yaw: The side to side movement of the nose. Swaying motion side to side of the nose of the plane / moving from left to right using the rudder. 4. Loop: A complete roll 5. Dive : Decrease the inclination of the nose / downward motion when the plane lands. 6. Climb: to go up (movement of plane) 7. Lift: A force which pushes the plane up. 2. What are the functions of the parts of the airplane pictured above? 1. A: Vertical stabilizer: controls the yaw movement, keep the nose of the plane from swinging from side to side. 2. B: Rudder: directs the tail left or right / changes yaw movement.

This blog is called the mechanic’s corner not only because i’m studying aircraft maintenance, because I’m an electromechanical technician of self-propelled vehicles and I have been working in an official workshop for a while. Below I will tell you why a car mechanic is now studying aeromechanical maintenance.Since I was young I liked the machines and to disassemble mechanisms to know how they work. But also I really liked airplanes. I’ve had family members who have worked in airports all my life, and one of my dreams is to fly an airplane. After finishing high school, I studied electromechanical maintenance. These knowledge would be useful for airplanes in the future. When I finished my studies I spend a year working in a mechanical workshop, and I saved the money that I earned to pay my studies for the future. Right now I’m living in Palma de Mallorca, I’m studying Aeromechanical Maintenance and who knows that in the future I can Fulfill my dream and I can fly an airplane. In
