Gender discrimination

With this poster that my colleagues and I have made we wanted to analyze: first of all the number of women who have studied in Globalia formation, the studies that we are doing. We have also analyzed where this great imbalance between men and women could come from, and that in the last seven years only six women have studied this vocational course. Another issue that we have analyzed is the difference in salary that exists between the two genders. Finally, we have found possible solutions and acts that are carried out to promote equality between men and women at work.

The idea of making this poster came up to see a couple of films, it was based on the real stories, the themes of the topics they talk about, the inequality between people of different skin color, or people of different gender. Racial discrimination is an issue that we find in many films, especially in North American, which is where this type of discrimination most exists for many years. The history of North America is full of battles between the person of color and whites, and even today there are many conflicts and equality between races is sought. The films we saw are: BlacKkKlansman, which talks about the organization of the Ku Klux Klan and how two police infiltrate inside it. And hidden figures, which deals with the African-American mathematics that worked at NASA. From these films came the idea of talking about the different types of discrimination and our group focused on gender discrimination, since in our group was the only girl in our course.

Racing drones

A Drone is a flying device controlled remotely by a person or a program to develop many types of functions. There are many types of drones but my favorites are the racing drones. These devices are controlled by people who use a control with two joysticks and glasses where you can see in real time what is in front of the drone. Be careful if you are a person with vertigo or fear of speed. The device is normally built by four high performance electric motors that provide support and addressability to the device; a battery that gives electrical energy; a camera that allows you to control the drone as if you were inside and some circuits that control the motors and send the video signal to the glasses. There are a variety of forms of these devices: with more engines, with steerable propellers or even amphibious water-air. Sushi and bad weather

This week, my in-laws they planned to come a few days to visit Mallorca and be with my girlfriend and me. Due to weather forecasts, they changed the day of arrival and advanced the trip a few days. From what they said on the news, it was going to rain a lot this week and the wind was going to blow very hard. These days we went to eat at two restaurants. The burguer Doze, is a small restaurant in Llucmajor that makes a very good burgers at a good price; or to kiyomi sushi, which is a Japanese food restaurant that has a menu where you can choose everything you want with a fixed price. The sushi is of very good quality and the entrees are very good. My in-laws left to Menorca a day before the storm began. This storm was announced well in advance, as it could cause a lot of damage to coastal areas and flood areas.
