A visit to the hangar and other places to eat


This weekend my couple and I went to eat at a buffet at the Son Pardo racecourse. It is right next to the son pacs institute.
It is a buffet where we can find typical Mallorcan dishes, such as “ tumbet” which are sliced ​​vegetables such as aubergine, potato and green pepper, with tomato sauce. We also found "trampo", which is a salad of tomatoes, onions and green and red peppers, cut into very small squares. Most of the dishes in the buffet are good, I recommend the site to people who like buffets. Also this weekend I made a cheesecake with jam that was great.
My partner and I like to have something sweet to eat after lunch. Right now, while I am writing the blog, I am preparing donuts, typical of this time of year. Next week I will upload photos of how the donuts have been. This week at Globalia we have continued with the hydraulic systems of the plane with Jose Miguel. In the workshop, Pere and I have finished assembling the turbochargers, we have stopped all the screws to prevent them from being released with vibrations. It was the first practice that we had to stop so many screws and connectors with lock wire.
We are already starting to have more ability to use the locking wire. On Wednesday we went to the hangar of globalia where we could see everything seen in theory as the hydraulic system of the plane with Jose Miguel, the electrical system with Arnaldo or the push-back with Jose Maria. There were two Air Europa planes inside the Hangar that were performing maintenance. One was an Airbus 330 and the other was a Boeing 737.
In the hangar we are very clear about everything we explain in Llucmajor where we can only see photos or schemes.

Sushi and bad weather

This week, my in-laws they planned to come a few days to visit Mallorca and be with my girlfriend and me. Due to weather forecasts, they changed the day of arrival and advanced the trip a few days. From what they said on the news, it was going to rain a lot this week and the wind was going to blow very hard. These days we went to eat at two restaurants. The burguer Doze, is a small restaurant in Llucmajor that makes a very good burgers at a good price; or to kiyomi sushi, which is a Japanese food restaurant that has a menu where you can choose everything you want with a fixed price. One of my days in Globalia Maintenance Training

Globalia is located in the municipality of Llucmajor, twenty five kilometers from Palma de Mallorca, in the  Son Noguera trade development. From Tuesday to Friday I have training classes in Globalia in the morning, so I have to get up at cuarter past six in the morning to take the car and go to class. It is my first year in Llucmajor so we have 3 hours of practical classes in the workshop, with 5 minutes of rest every hour to go to the toilette or drink something. In the workshop, we must wear a uniform and safety shoes, which Air Europa has customized with her logo. At the end of the 3 hours of practice, we have a break of 20 minutes for breakfast and We go to the bar. At 11 o'clock in the morning the first hour of theory begins, so we go to the upper floor of the training building where the classroom is located. At the moment we are studying fundamentals of electricity with Elena. As in the class with Elena we are studying capacitors, resistors and some electrical components...
